Alot of Lian Li cases have the optical drive cage over 2 external 3.5" drive mounts over a Hard Drive cage up front. How difficult would it be to reposition that hard drive cage far enough back to allow a radiator behind the front fan intakes and would it be possible to route water hoses around or over the drive cage. Also how would this effect clearnce between the drive cage and the mobo?

after looking at my lian li, the only idea i can think of is removing the HD cage completely and mounting the hard drives in the floppy cage or 5.25 bays instead (with adapters to make them fit of course).

gonna have to break out the dremel.. i'm pretty sure thy have that base that holds the HDD cage built into the bottom of the case. i've seen plenty moved back without effecting the mobo

the base looks like it is mounted with a few rivets that can easily be drilled out.

At least in the PC-6x series the hard drive cage is mounted via two thumbscrews. But of course, this means there's an apparatus attached to the bottom to which the cage attaches. There's a speaker in there too.
