LED vs LCD vs Plasma vs DLP

I have seen some high quality LCDs/LEDs - for instance, the new 3D ones look really, really nice.

I am not sure if there is such a thing as high quality LCD/LED anymore.

In AVSforum, every LCD/LED models of every brand have some very scary defect problem, some are not just defect, but clearly design flaw. They works for the 1st yr., but after the warranty, defect becomes to form.

The very last thread I read is buble forming on the surface of the screen. It seems those LCD are not build to last.

I wrote another thread in this forum of my multiple samsung 2 x 30" 305T failure, 3 out of 3 (2 original + 1 replacement) on 3 different kind of defect problems
