leadtek 6800 GT overclocking question

i saw one review site that got 430/1.19. ill post mine as soon as it shows up and i have my rig built(wednesday-thursday)

mine will probably arrive on tues...

If my computer is working by then, I'll tell ya what i get

Well, got mine today and I have it clocked at 400/1.12 comfortably. I scored 12050 in 3DMark 03 and it is running 72C at full load. I think it still has some room to move... :D

It appears the best I am going to get is 410/1.12. I was hoping for more, but I think I am going to have to devise a new cooling solution for my case. Watercooled perhaps? Right now the card is running 62C idle and causing the ambient temp in my case to rise above 50C :(

The HSF isn't really that noticeable. Suprisingly, I would say it is no louder than the Artic cooler I had on my 9700. You will hear it kick on and then it just fades away...I am certainly happy about that. :)

i got almost the exact same thing. the best i can seem to get is 416/1.12. i meen, thats a REALY good overclock, but i was also hopeing for more(btw, the card seems to max out at about 67, or atleas on that test everyone mentions, and runs about 60 unloaded, is this normal? case tem =36 or so, w/ a fan blowing on it(well, its blowing to the top part, its to high in the case :(.

btw, am i the only one who finds the coper block on the back to be pointless? its not conected w/ the main sink at all, yet in many cases it would get more airflow(would have been nice w/ a heat pip or somthing).
