LCDs and "backlight bleeding"

I just bought a 710T the other day. No dead pixels, looks pretty good. It bleeds about 1/8 to maybe 1/4 inch of backlight a slight bit at the top of the monitor. It's a little annoying in dark games and stuff (small somewhat brighter area at the top of the screen). There's a faint, what I would consider normal amount of backlight bleeding, on the left, right and bottom edges (comparable to my laptop LCD, and not enough to be annoying). Does anybody else with a 710T have any bleeding, significant or not, and does anyone think I should consider returning the monitor for a replacement (bought from Dell)? Or is it not worth the trouble since I think it's only a small annoyance? It honestly doesn't look like all that much, but this is my first desktop LCD, so I'm not sure what to think. Maybe I'm just being picky :)
 
My first 2001fp had bleed at the top. I debated not sending it back, but since the 21 day period is made for that, I took a chance and got one with almost no bleed anywhere; as a matter of fact, it had no dead pixels and no screen door effect that I could tell.

True, that.

I think I'm just gonna stick with this one, though. It's only noticeable in a dark game or when using the LCD in a dark room with dark images on the screen. During the day or when viewing material that has brighter colors, I can't see it at all.

Hey Man,

My 2001 fp has horribile backlight bleeding at the top. An area of three inchs and 2 other areas about 1 inch in size. It's really bad when you watch a wide screen movie. Wait till you see the pics (I'll be posting them soon). I'm still within the 21 day period so I'm debating wether to send it back for a new or a refund. Did you get an extange or buy a new one and send the old one back?

It's a bit brighter looking in the picture than it actually looks to the eye. It's that small strip along the top edge. Does anybody think it's bad enough to make it worth the return? Or is that normal for an LCD?
