LCD's 2000:1 vs 700:1

I am currently debating between these two monitors:

Samsung SyncMaster 931BW

and

NEC Display Solutions 90GX2-BK

They are both 19". The NEC has 400cd/m while the Samsung has 300. However, the samsung one has 2000:1 ratio while the NEC only has 700:1.

Now I'm planning to use these monitors for my Xbox 360. I want the quality to resemble this http://hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1028548310&postcount=34 without having to buy a bigger then a 19" monitor.

1, that's a 24'' monitor

the contrast ratio of 2000:1 would look much better then the 700:1, less ghosting too more then likely on that 19'' samsung, so better there too
