LCD response time 8ms vs 20ms....

Okay, was looking at newegg for a VIewsonic 19" LCD, saw 8ms response time for around $450. Thought that was a decent price especially for a fast response time.

Did a little more research on the monitor and found that the 8ms is grey-to-grey, but has 20ms for black-to-white. Isn't it the black-to-white response that really matters?

The LCD will be used for lots of gaming.

Ur thread title is misleading :rolleyes: , should have asked smth like "black-to-black vs grey-to-grey response time" :D As for ur question, IMHO grey-to-grey is more important... and I'll let someone else to explain y :D
