Christmas has come and gone, and I missed out on the TV buying frenzy, due to pricing. Searching around for news articles, I see a bunch that say that LCD prices will be reduced significantly in 2005. What's the chance of this actually happening? LCD manufacturers have been saying their prices will come down for years, yet it hasn't happened yet. Actually, I'm mainly concerned about the price of Sharp's LG-26GA4U 26'' set.

What are the chances of a massive LCD sale early next year, or massive price drops by the summer?
