LCD or CRT

I just picked up a 19" Sony Multiscan G400 Trintron True Flat CRT real cheap with warranty. Is this monitor comparable to a LCD monitor in graphics and performance. LMK. Thanks

CRT will always violate an lcd, but lcds are getting there slowly to match crt. One advise on the triniton display, when u have a white background and the screen is nicely warmed up you will see a tiny vertical line. it holds the matrix together. slightly annoying but best CRT tech. Where did u get it n how much u payd 4 it?

That's a great crt It really depends on the type of lcd that you're comparing it too. but for the most part unless your're comparing it to a top of the line lcd, graphics and performance wise that monitor will beat out most lcds.

Went to a computer show in Columbus,OH today and got it for $55 with 6months warranty....
. It has a few surface problems but screen is excellent shape.Manufactured in 2000 tho.
