Hey can u guys suggest me some 17" LCD moniter and i have heard that u can also use ur monitor as a tv and if thats possible i would like that kind of LCD.

well there are native lcd tvs that have tv inputs on them and then there are tv boxes that take tv input and convert it to a monitor input, so you have integrated or external solutions.

This is one of those external solutions, that works pretty well for using an lcd as a TV, only problem is the analog signal isn't really all that clear.

Hope this helps...

The Dell Ultraharps 17", 19", 20" 4:3 or in Widescreen and the New Dell 24" all have composite video inputs and S-Video however the DVI is not HDCP remember u need to get an external tuner of some sort to use them just as a TV. If you are gonna put a tv tuner in your computer just get a decent LCD like a Dell, Samsung, Viewsonic etc

thx guys can u tell me what i have to have in a good lcd like max res., ms and all the other stuff?
