Basicly...my parents covered half the cost of my monitor for Xmass. A Viewsonic VP912b. However, since that was my only gift, and I owe them 300 for it and since i don't have a decent Video Card and won't be able to afford one prolly until my birthday in may. I don;t feel like it was a wise investment seeing as I can't use the digital input or really play any recent games without a video card.

Would it be more worth while to trade the monitor for a Samsung 710t and get a 6600gt Instead?
 
I'd start flippin' burgers if I were you. If you're not old enough for that, get a paper route.

And don't return your parent's gift unless they bought it completely out of the blue and with no input from you. If you asked for it or even suggested it might be a good idea, your credibility will suffer and future requests will be harder to sell to them.
 
Your not making any sense.....just play the games at the lower resolutions until you can afford a better video card the run them at the LCD's native resolution.
