For the life of me, I can't find the link to the good couple sites that do custom laser etched windows if you send them a picture. Can somebody please hook me up with that link? Thanks! :)

yeah. the one place I used to know of was xport1.com, but they still don't do the size of Lian Li windows that I have on my PC75b...

Read CrimsonSky's thread on the Doom 3 Project Mars City Mod. There is a guy there that did some really cool work for him--or just email Crim...he's a great guy and should respond relatively quickly.

Hope this helps--

ok so before I actually go thru the process, does anybody think these two pictures would work well with the window:

this one or this one

Going for the Star Wars theme that I've wanted for my case for a very long time, since I'm not skilled enough to do it all myself.

Eventually I'll be checking out the case skins from this site too for the case itself. :)

I forgot the name but I believe another good one is called Xport1
--edit--
Guy above me got to it first.

Yeah. xport1 doesn't do anything higher than 12x10 or something for windows.

My case window is 17"x16.5". :(

we can do window sizes upto 18"x24" :)
Sweet. I may be contacting you guys soon!

Will either of the pictures I wanted to do work well with the window? i.e. will it be hard for the machine to etch them out?

Dapperdan, what specs should the image be at for you guys? I know the dpi should start at 300dpi but what else?

ack 300 DPI...

It'll be a while then till I can find the same pic at a clean and crisp 300 DPI...since this one is only about 72 or so at 1280x1024 resolution. :(

your best bet is to email the image and ask about it that way....72dpi can work depending on size.

my friend has a place that can do it but the site is down now. i will poast a link when it comes back up. he can do about anything and any material and size is not really a issue

Yeah. I'm just kind of confused though. The image itself is the right size in photoshop as the window, but it's only 72 DPI.
