Laptop on domain, PC with printer on workgroup. How to share printer?

All the computers in the house connect to the same router but the home pc's are in a workgroup. I have a work laptop that I need to get to share a printer in the house. The work laptop is part of a domain and does not see the printer or the home network. I hope I explained that correctly. How would I get the printer to be added to the work laptop without changing it from part of a domain to part of the workgroup?

Is there any other way to share this printer with the laptop? The printer is connected through another computer.

Not a problem,

On the laptop map to the share via UNC or straight to the machine

i.e.

PrintServer = PC name of the PC in your house that hosts the printer

Start > Run

\\PrintServer

On your laptop after 2-3 seconds a screen will show up with the printer being shown. Right click on the printer and click "connect" and you should be off to the races.

If you want to reference the Print Server by IP instead you just do...

\\192.168.1.xx (ip of the PC - make sure it is STATIC!)

Hope this helps...

haha, I posted this after I saw the other thread you replied to as this question was bugging me and I hoped to avoid some searching online for my answer. Will try it later. Thanks.
