laptop not using power settings

I got a work laptop, doesn't follow the power management settings when its out of the docking station. its really annoying when it screen locks every 10 minutes instead of the 30 minutes I have on. is there some trick in the registry to fix it?


HP Compaq 6910p f15
windows 7 enterprise 64bit
 
Well you probably have it set to lock after 10 minutes of no use and the screen set to turn off after 30 minutes. Go through the advanced power settings and see what you have set to 10 minutes.
 
on battery it says 10 minutes but I have it plugged in 99% of the time. I'll see what happens Monday.
