how do i find out what chipset my laptop has, i dont have anything that would be able to tell me this
 
motherboard monitor maybe? i'm not sure about that...

sisoft sandra does chipset info... that's about the only thing that comes to my mind right off the bat.
 
ok found out what chipset it is: VT8751A (on ProSavageDDR P4M266) now my problem is to find goddamn drivers for it, anyone know where they can be found, there is a list on the via site but my chipset here dosent seem to have any drivers
 
VIA uses a unified drivers ... sot you can use what ever they call it nowadays ... they're called 4-in-1 in the old days ...
