LAN Gaming in Metairie, Louisiana

Is anyone here from the New Orleans area? If so, I wanted to let you know that there is a LAN Gaming Center opening up on Veterans Highway in Metairie this month. There will be 30 computers, 4 HDTVs with Networked XBOXs, PS2s, and a variety of other consoles. There will also be food, drinks, smoothies, floats, and more. (www.dibbz.net)

We will have tons of LAN Parties (Which will be listed on our website). For LAN Parties, you can use one of our 15 BYOC stations, use one of the provided computers, or just swap your computer with one of the provided computers. There will also be daily, weekly, and monthly tournaments.

Sounds interesting. I'll have to stop by when it is open. Seems like you are making it a real nice place. There is no competition in the game cafe market so you should do well. Best of luck and I'll see you when it opens.

Well, we've been open for almost a year now and things couldn't be better for us. If you haven't had a chance to check us out, then I would suggest doing so.

When we opened, Xbox Live did not exist. There was no Playstation online network. Things have certainly changed in the last 8 years. Not sure if this is still the business to be in.
