I was looking on newegg and I cant seem to find any KVM switches that work well with a USB mouse and keyboard. All I want is a switch so i can change my keyboard, mouse and monitor from on comp to another without tuning they off and on(hot swapping?). Thanks for any help.

Just grab a pair of USB to PS2 adapters and problem is solved.

I would get the usb-ps2 adapters but they are not as fast as just a usb or so i was told. And i only need to switch between 2 Comps. also if i do get the adapters will there be any problems hot swapping? If not i would do that i guess. Any sujestions on a good KVM.

USB Kvm's are about 30-50 bucks more than a normal kvm that has ps/2. I have the linkskey 2 port kvm: http://tinyurl.com/3d58l
No problems so far and a great price. Having a usb to ps2 connector with my mx500 mouse makes no difference.

I dont mind paying the extra money if it was a good working usb unit. this is one place i wouldnt want to skimp, my friend has a cheap one.H e has alot of problems with not being able to hold a keystroke for more then 2 secs and other random things like that. I want one that I cant tell is there othere then the ability to switch from one comp to another. thanks for all the replys!

IOGear has a 2 port one at Best Buy for $70. I have their PS2 one and it's awesome. No power needed, and the cables are built in.

Yeah, forgot to type that. It's white and gray. They have a PS2 one for $40 that's lime and gray.
