Koss SB40 vs. SB49?

I'm curious...is the latter any better than the former for the insignificant price increase, or is the SB40 said to be the best choice for a 'budget' gaming headset for a reason? <3

You don't want the inline volume control of the SB49. If it doesn't degrade audio quality it'll eventually cause snap, crackle and pop noises after a while.

sb40 just has the best sound. the mic is pretty bad though. get a zalman clip on mic and just snap it on the boom no problem.

With shipping my total was $21. Got em last week and they work pretty well for gaming .

I like em a lot for gaming and using the mic, but they make me appreciate my DT770s even more hah!
