Koolance RM2: Ever Use One?

Sorry. This is posted also in the multiprocessing forum, until I saw this subforum, which seems better placed.

I'm doing a little research on getting and quieting down some rackmount server chassis and came across Koolance rackmount cases that are watercooled:

Koolance RM2 4U

Anyone ever use one? Well-built? Wise use of money for someone who doesn't have time to roll his own these days? Thanks.

I would assume the build quality is excellent, cooling is probably decent/on par with most average watercooling setups. The price however is through the roof. I dont know how much a rackmount case costs, but I know that Koolance watercooling is not cheap by any stretch of the imagination. Koolance is always very overpriced for the performance they offer, and frankly I dont think 200$ is worth the slightly added ease of setup (I mean you still have to install all the waterblocks and everything, and those aren't even included).

TBH, it sounds like you already have a rackmount case, in which case I think it would be easiest,cheapest, and best if you would get a Koolance EXOS unit and use that to cool down your computer, it will perform as well as or better than that Koolance case, but cost you a fraction of the cost.

Koolance makes top notch cases (I own one) but the performance is not quite good enough for the price. Luckly I got mine for cheap and I use a separate external setup for my cpu and hd's while the video and northbridge are cooled by the koolance.
