Koolance Exos Pump Bad?

I installled my koolance exos 2 today, but I think it's not working appropriately.

I flled the resovoir with the koolance liquid. I put the jumper between the 4th and sixth pins on the power supply. The pumps are making noise, and I see some wimpy water movement in the resovoir, but the resovoir isn't emptying to fill the tubing. The output tubing looks like it's filled with fluid when it's off, but when I turn on the power supply, a large air bubble gets pushed from the inside of the EXOS 2 and about 12 inches down the tubing. However, the air bubble stays right there.

From what I'm understanding it should cirulcate around the enter the resovoir and the level of the fluid in the resovoir should drop and enter the tubing. I tried putting the EXOS 2 unit in all sorts of different positions, but the fluid isn't draining out of the resvoir to fill the rest of the tubing. I don't think the pump is working, would that be correct? I think the Exos 2 has 2 pumps, but could the outflow tubing be clogged or soemthing? Please give me some suggestions as to what do next? The water isn't circulating in the tubiing at all.

I think you have a bad pump, a plugged connection, or a gigantic air leak somewhere. Did you make sure air would go through all your coolers before plugging them in? How many coolers are you using? Did you do the split tubing deal from one 3/8 to two 1/4 lines? Everytime I have turned an EXOS on it went lickety split though the system in about 10 seconds.

Dude, that happened to me too, lol. I filled my res with water as much as I could, then I turned on my DDC 12V and it wouldn't fill my system. So I pissed around a little bit and it turns out I had a big pocket of air in my pump, once you get the air out, it will work good. Don't turn on your computer at all costs though cause you have no water flow for the moment.

Well, I only have on cooler, the CPU waterblock in the system. This EXOS 2 only uses 3/8 " tubin throughout so, I don't think it's a blocked connection. I only cut the provided tubing in half, and I didn't trim it down any further. I looked at it closely again this morning and it appears there is a trickle of fluid coming down from the ouput tubing, but it must have SOME pumping action behind it because it moves the giant air bubble in the tubing a little bit then it reaches a limit or something and can't move it any more, but again the fluid frojm the resovoir should be draining to replace this air bubble.

How did you get rid of that giant air pocket around your pump? I tried positition the exos unit in all sorts of positions so that the air would rise to the top of the resovoir i.e. holding the portion with the LCD panel straight up,above al the rest of the tubing, but to no avail.
I don't want ot have to ship this stupid thing back to the company to find out it's something I did wrong. Should I empty it, and try to force air through the System to make sure there aren't any blockages? I even shook the EXOS a little bit with the LED panel upwards to make sure the air is out of the tubing, it looks like it is from the side, But when I turn the pump on again, it starts pumping that air bubble about 12 inches and it can't move it any further.

I dunno what happened, I spent the night at a friends house, I come back, all the air is gone from the system. I didn't run it over night, I didn't do a darn, thing. It's working now.
it's deadly quiet, I love this thing now!

Thanks for everyone's help.

Yeah, that would be air... The pump is extremely loud when there is air in it, I would know, lol. Well anyways, good luck with your system man.

I just wanted to say thanks again for all your help and how quickly it was delivered. I guess the Koolance Watercooling elves came in and helped me out.
