Koolance and 6800U problems...

Just got my step up 6800 Ultra today from EVGA, and I am trying to install the new Koolance GPU block. However, my GPU temperature is 66 at idle and 95 under load, seems a bit high for watercooled to me. The GPU is the first block in line, and my CPU seems to be running at normal temperature. I have bled the system several times, and there are no air bubbles trapped in the GPU block. Is it possible that the mounting screws on the video card may be too loose/tight? Do I need some sort of shim in there? Help!
 
i had the same issues with my evga 6800u and the koolance exos ..did you put the rubber washers under the video card where you put the 2 screws in?? if you put the plastic ones instead you have to switch the plastic ones to the top where you place the block and tighten the the ends . If the rubber washers are on top they will PREVENT complete contact with the core. give that a shot.
 
Did you remove the tape from the block? I have a Koolance block and have had no problems with it on my GT.
