This will probably go in my new system, but what else is comparable? Or better even? Money isn't an option.

Is the Corsair TwinX1024-4000Pro faster or better? I've also read that on an AMD system that a PC3200 or PC3500 would be better suited because the higher MHz of the PC4000 or PC4400 wouldn't be used.

I agree with the statement but not for the same reasons. Generally, the higher bandwidth ram has much poorer timings - the latencies are usually quite high. AMD setups are more affected by timings than their Intel brethren, so if you are going AMD I would definitely recommend some PC3200 or PC3500 with tight timings.

Take a look at the prices between this and low latency PC3200. Chances are, the prices wont be that different. Prices are usually indicative of performance. What do i mean? usually people who buy this are Intel users.

No way in hell AMD will get up to DDR500. As you all know, running Sync with an AMD proc is the best.

Now with Intel... with Dual Channel... bandwidth is no longer a big issue. You can run 5:4 or 3:2 with REALLY tight timings and keep up or even outperform 1:1 with lax latency. :)

People have already gotten DDR560 sync on nForce2s :)
I'm at DDR500 SYNC with DDR433:D

This is all with low latency BH-5, which are capable of the same speeds as PC4000 and higher but requires voltage.
