The forums were dead for nearly a month. Undoubtedly, people stopped coming by here.

Now, nearly every day there is some 'manufactured' post on the home page to try to get the forums going again. I love this site, but that whole deal made me extremely sore.

Perhaps when you run the 3rd most loved tech review site on the internet, (according to every poll ive seen) you shouldn't abandon your fans/users by chopping off the forums for nearly a month. What is to say you won't do it again if all the old people came back anyway?
