i recently bought the illuminated keyboard from xoxide.com(link below). I plugged it in and it works fine until i try to turn on the backlit function, then i hear a fast repetive beep coming from my pc, and none of the other buttons will work. Then when i turn it off, everything works fine again. I am running windows 98 SE, and i have installed the software. does anyone know whats wrong?

Newer hardware seems to have plenty of trouble with Win 98

Have you tried the keyboard on a win xp rig yet?
 
i tried it on windows ME, and it worked fine.
I still need to run it on 98 SE though
