K8V overclocking questions

I am aware this thread already exists, but i want to clear up some issues before i write off the possibility of overclocking my a64 3000+

As i understand it, the problem with the K8v is there are no locks on the pci/agp bus rates so they increase when you raise the fsb (which i know really doesn't exist on the a64 blah blah blah) to the ram. I don't have any pci cards, could a 9800pro handle a slight raise in agp bus frequency?

I'm very new to all of this, so if there's anything else i need to know please don't assume i already know it
