Just noticed something...

About my BFGTech Asylum 6800GT. And it may be old news to you guys but I found it kinda cool.

But where the heatsinks/fans are on my card, there are blue leds that light up the fans.

I never knew that before. Then again, you never see it so it doesn't really matter. I just happened to have my head down on the table the tower sits on doing somethign when I looked through the window in the side of my case and up at the video card, sure enough the two fans were all lit up.

Just thought I'd share.

So you mean to tell me that when you install a new part, you don't verify the fans, indicators, etc.?

Obviously not if you didn't notice the LEDS.

Not tryin to be an assclown but geez man... Put down the crack pipe and step away from the keyboard :D

It seems that everyone that hangs out in the Video Card forum has a stick up their ass. When people ask a question you make them feel like they are beneth you. When someone shares with you something they found impressive you throw it in their faces. If I was a mod half you guys would be gone a long time ago.

Lighten up... I was just kidding. That's what the big cheesy, toothy grin means at the end of the post. And speaking of sticks, if you need assistance with removal... uhhh... let someone else know :D

P.S. That's a big cheesy, toothy grin. Get it?

RAutrey, I verified that the card worked once I booted the system up but I didn't put power to it to make sure the lights worked. I don't buy video cards for freakishly neat lights on the fans. I buy them for the graphics and stuff.

Like I said, I only noticed it by looking up at it while screwing around with something on the table the tower is on. And I thought it was neat and figured I'd share my findings.

I'm not xactly used to buying things with lights on them. Up until a few weeks ago my case was completely enclosed then I decided I wanted a window so I put one in it.

Its ok, I didn't exactly take offence to what you said about stepping away fromt eh keyboard. I knew you were kidding.
