It's the only drive in my computer which i'm on now. motherboard has sata slots...do i need to install any other drivers or anything?
 
Nope, no software needed unless its in RAID. You might wanna install your mobos chipset drivers, but thats for graphics speed and nothing to do with disk-drives :). It'll work fine the way it is.
 
Depending on the chipset you may need to load drivers during install if it's the only drive in teh system, EVEN if it's not in raid. This is alot more common on AMD platforms than intel.
