Anyone have any info on this pump? I've been reading about them and everyone says its a beast. Anyone actually have one? I have a chance to pick up a new in box one with a psu for the price of a mcp355. Is it worth it? How loud are they?
 
I own four of them.

Yes it is worth every penny.

What one person would consider 'loud', another person would not, so that is a very subjective and relative question.

The real trick to owning one and properly utilizing it, lies in feeding it water correctly.
 
Buy yourself a Meanwell S-150-24 PSU for it.

Don't buy that garbage inverter the Hank is selling at PPC.
 
NO! Does not provide enough amperage for the RD-30.

Again, buy the Meanwell S-150-24, trust me on this one brother.
