itune disconnecting my wifi

i have been having problems with my wifi lately, i have though taht it was the router but i think it might be the itunes. whenever i download something big, like a 198mb podcast, itunes craps out my entire connection. i don;t think it;s hitting it;s download limit becasue i can download other files forever, but whenever it;s in itunes, it shuts down. i have to disconnect the wifi, then reconnect and resume download.

anyone else experincing this or have a fix
