Didn't see a section for this so I'm plopping this in here. Hope you don't mind :D

I live in the Atlanta, GA Metro area and I'm shopping for a new ISP. I'm currently with Bellsouth DSL @ 6 Mbps and wanted to upgrade to something faster. I saw Comcast had a 20 Mbps and was thinking about switching to that, but then I read about them capping their service at 250 GB/month and I started to re-think it. I'm sure you guys know more about ISP's than me, so if you don't mind, suggest away! Thanks.

I use to have 20 Mbps(30 now) and never had any bandwidth problems; that sounds like crap. I haven't had a single drop that I can remember for at least 6 months, I'm pretty satisfied with Comcast right now.

Offhand I thought they had to change their policy on that as they sell the accounts as unlimited. I could also be giantly wrong, however.

all they did was put it in the fine print.. they dont actually enforce it unless you exceed 1TB of bandwidth during the month for 2 straight months in a row.. at least thats where ive seen the cut off.. i avg between 500-600GB a month and have not received a single warning from comcast..

also you could go with comcast business which is unlimited with the same docsis 2.0/3.0 speeds as the consumer lines..
