I read a review on Legionhardware about a HSF and the article said "LGA775 Socket is said to be good for only twenty installs". Do you think this is true??

Possibly, you can damage clips and the like from installing heatsinks.
Where is this article? I'm intrigued.

Now think about it, who really takes their cpu in and out anywhere near that many times? I wouldnt even worry about it.

Actually several review sites had stated that they've actually done it on the same motherboard more than that and everything was fine. As with all computer hardware installs you should make sure that you're very carefull when handling everything.

At least you don't have to worry about bent pins on the LGA775 CPU's. I for one would rather break a $200 motherboard than a $400 CPU.

They should have left the celerons 478 though, Id rather see a celeron die than any motherboard :p

Yes it is true. Intel has only rated the LGA775 for around 20 installs before failure, AKA the mean time between failures. Socket 478 chips had the same rating on the pins.

As long as you're carefull, it really won't matter and honestly, I have never removed my proc 20+ times in any computer I've owned.
