OK so i got a new diamond s80 this weekend and i was tweaking with it in 3dMark2001SE to see how hi i could get my score. First mark was 4878 with CMOS settings VRAM shadow off and AGP aperture at 32MB. BTW, I'm using an epox 8KHA+ which has AGP up to only 4x. So anyway i run a second test and 4891 is my score after enabling VRAM shadow. Third test is 4895 w/ VRAM off and aperture set to 128MB. Final test score is 4900 with both VRAM shadow enabled and aperture set to 128 MB. Now, my question is when i installed it the qwik-install manual said to leave the CMOS settings for it at a 32MB aperture w/VRAM shadow off. If i leave CMOS settings set to VRAM shadow on and 128MB aperture, will i harm my card? :confused:

Ah yes, i forgot to mention I ran the benchmark settings at 1024x768 w/32bit color and NO AA. My machine is:
Athlon XP 1700+
1 PC2100 512MB DDRRAM
FSB 266MHz
WDC 60gb 7200RPM IDE
and lots of periphals
 
That's a 9200SE. :D

You shouldn't need to have the shadow on, but the AGP aperture is fine. 128 is a sufficient amount.
