Is this kit good?

Most people on here would tell you to avoid a kit and recommend a DIY setup. I guess the parts in that particular kit aren't too awful at the price it has listed.

I would recommend to opt for one of the other pumps besides that CSP pump, if you are just dead set on getting a kit. Seems like the CSP pumps are taking a beating with people having lots of problems with them. Just look around the forums and notice all the posts about that pump. I know some people use that pump and don't have any problems, but it just seems like a larger than normal amount of posts telling about the problems they're having with it. If you're new to water cooling, I say just get one of the others pumps so you won't have to worry about potential problems and what to do.

I think it's haflway decent for a kit when you consider the marked down price. If that kit was the full price then I wouldn't even consider it. I would just buy all the parts separate and build it myself. A lot of the cost in a kit is the ease of having all the parts together along with some basic instructions (which can be found on the web). Most of the kits you see nowadays are really no better than good air cooling but this one seems to be almost an exception. heh.

...just my $0.02... :)

Hey Cryptic, that's actually a pretty good setup. Still a bit pricey but everything is put together for you. The only thing I would change is the cpu block. For $10 more you can go with the Whitewater block instead of the tc4. Whitwater is a very good bock, although I hear the factory lap job is not always too good.

The radiator in the kit is actually a modded Chevette heater core. It will handle anything you throw at it with no problems.

I've also heard some bad reports about the csp 750 pump. The mark II version is supposed to be better than the original, but I'm not for sure.

Thanks to you both:) I still have another month or so untill I order(because I'm waiting on pay check) so I will keep looking. But thanks again to you both. :D
