I just got a new motherboard and new cpu.

I'd like to simply swap my old mb and cpu out and plug my hard drive directly in w/o formatting any of the old data.

What's the best way to do this? Would I need to repair my windows boot sectors if its "used" to my old mb??

Please advise. Thanks all.
 
It may or may not work. If the same cpu brand and type.. maybe. If you used mb drivers, maybe. If windows activation lets you, maybe. It shouldn't mess up your hd so give it a try...

After running sysprep..it keeps on running the mini-wizard and trying to set-up again. does anyone know how i get out of it??
