Is this a quality case???

I have no idea, but I looked at the pics (especially the pic of the PSU stats) just thought this was funny....

AS SEALED STICK WAS REMOVED, LOST OR DAMAGED, IT SHALL BE OUT OF WARRANTY VALIDITY
Talk about Engrish.

but seriously, that 12v at 16amps, and 5v at 25amps might be low, what are you putting in it?

you might want to get a bigger psu in my opinion. chances are your gonna either be pushing it to its max or straight up surpasing its output

Jesus christ I thought the case would be the lest expensive purchase on my comp.

Where can I get a good case with side window and good psu under 120???

It looks fine for a cheap case. But just upgrade the PSU if you buy it.

There are no cases that come with decent power supplies in my opinion. Find a case you like, then upgrade the PSU. Check out the PSU forum for suggestions.

If you weren't going to be putting in a 6800 I'd say you would be fine, provided you didn't oc it or add any more drives. With the hardware you're planning on dropping in there you will want a name brand (fortron, antec, enermax, pcp&c, etc) PSU of at least 450 watts just to be safe. I would recommend getting a decent case without a PSU and selecting your own PSU unit.

The case looks fine, however, if you put a power supply like that in a system with the specs you just listed, I might have to fly to wherever you live and personally whack you over the head with a frying pan :p

Seriously though, I'd avoid that PSU like the plague. Stick with a brand name PSU (Antec, Fortron, Vantec, etc.). If you need recomendations, just ask.

Alright thanks, another thing is why the hell is TAXES SO HIGH IN CALIFORNIA! Lol, you dont need to answer that, I already have the answer :p

So 450 W is my recommended dosage? Also will the cooling provided in it cut it?

Edit: could I settle for 400?

450w is fine, but if you're getting an Athlon 64, the single most important thing to look for is at least 20 amps on the 12v line. Head out to the AMD or Abit forums and you will find that this is the single most common problem getting these things to run.

I agree with CBR; Antec's TruePower line will do you nicely (I run a TruePower 480 with my 3800+).

Okay thanks! Wow I thought the case and Psu would be a bit less expensive. This is gonna cost me 200 bucks! (I had to pay $20 for taxes on my 6800 because im in california, but wait a minute, isnt that where newegg is located???)

it's a rockin case, actually but the PSU, as has been mentioned, is lacking. Actually, often, not counting monitor, the case in one of the heftier purchases. It is also one of the last things to become obsolete.

Ok, how does this case look:

Is it suitable? Is it not like those $40 cheap ones with the dud PSU's?

thanks for the help!

That PSU is CRAP....http://www.amd.com/us-en/assets/content_type/white_papers_and_tech_docs/30925.pdf

This is a building guide for an Opteron system, but it should apply to the A64...start at page 30, "Power Supply Considerations"
