I don't know how to boost anything in my computer like i have even updated bios or anything in it. Cause this is my first computer build.
 
Are you running everything stock, no overclocking? You could probably score higher with a little work. I get almost 9000 points with a 6600GT and an XP3200.
 
I would start reading in the overclocking forums about how to overclock your cpu. Go in small steps and you wont have any problems. I would start with the cpu. It will take a while to learn it all and do it safely. Just go in small steps, until you find the best performance.
 
Well i built it from parts off of www.zipzoomfly.com. All parts separte no barebones system or prebuilt. But all i moreless did was put all the hardware together and installed windows xp pro 1 and i haven't done any bio's update and i was curious if not doing bios update might be robbing me of performance?
 
hmm.. what kind of memory do have? brand, speed, and latencies. Also what kind of harddrive(s) and what rpm and cache are they?
 
What are the quality settings in your nVidia control panel? Having AA/AF enabled or moving from "high quality" to "high performance" can make a big difference.
