Is there any way to find out which sites have malware and trojans and block them?

In my previous post I mentioned that my 13 yo surfs the Internet playing kid games and logging on various music sites. She seems to want to click on every popup and offer. She also does free ringtone downloads on line to her phone.

Especially annoying are the fake virus malware sites that want you to buy their crap.

Is there any way to find out which sites have malware and trojans and block them?

i vote for this solution it works VERY GOOD!! tried it and surfed for porn and viruses, it blocked all the spyware and pop ups and add's. Very impressive !!

ya i got 2 UT boxes at work, i do use esoft, but even the default webfilter caught most anything for porn and such and spyware, it does sometimes do false claims, but better safe than sorry.

I concur. I use this setup at a few places and use opendns anytime someone wants me to setup a router.
