Is there any DDS (tape drive) simulator software?

I need to learn to use Veritas Netbackup fast and to be able to enter to some features I need to have a tape drive connected to the sysytem... so, is the anyway to fool Veritas Netbackup or the OS into believe that a certain partition or directory is a Digital Data Storage (tape drive) unit? Maybe some soft or some other way....

With BackupExec, you can create a backup-to-disk folder. It will then use this in a similar fashion to a tape drive.

Backup to Disk folders is the way to go.
