I was using my 7970 with an Accelero Xtreme for about a week after I installed it. However, it started to overheat, so I took a look at it. A screw on the backplate seemed to be loose, so I tightened all 4 of the screws. However, after putting it back in, I get no picture, though the PC seems to load to Windows.

I've tried another video card, which worked. This leads me to think I might've damaged the card, but I'm not sure what else it could be.

Try reseating the card once again in the motherboard. Given that you're getting some sort of video on boot I'm surprised hosed. I'm guessing its possible that its broken but you would usually see heavy artifacting on boot or nothing on boot.

I've tried reseating the card, as well as putting it in another PCI-E slot to no avail. It does make me think something went wrong with the card, but maybe I missed something obvious.

try re-loosening the screws, if that works bake that bitch
