Fiance had to have white headphones. Nothing else would do. So I broke down and we ordered these from Buy.com.

http://www.buy.com/retail/product.asp?sku=10360360&loc=101&sp=1

They sound really bad to me. No definition in the sound at all! But she likes them because they are hellaciously loud and stay on her head when she exercises. (She's a bit of an exercise nut... 4 hours a day!) And they're white like her Ipod. But to me they are garbage. No deep bass at all. And I have a big head (no jokes!) so they would even fit properly. Just wanted others to know before they plunik down their hardearned change. They fit fine on her and she loves the feel of them. Just not me. At all. :(

PS. Buy.com shipped them really quickly! I heard about their reseller rating, but I had exceptional service from them. :) :) :)

Thanks for the tip. I would have thought flexible headphones like these would fit everyone. Don't let her listen to super expensive headphones, it'll just end up costing you even more in the future hah. If she's content, you're content =).

i thought ipod lounge gave them a decent review

o well at least SHE's happy  and im glad to hear your expirience with buy.com went smoothly, mine was hellish

buy.com is pretty good. I guess it's just hit and miss.

Doesn't the Ipod come with white headphones anyway??

Yeah, they did give them a good review. I thought that they sounded very hollow unless I cupped my hands over them. The drivers are huge on these things and darn loud! But I expected better sound quality than what I heard.

Yeah, the Ipod comes with white headphones. But they hurt my fiance's ear. They won't go in properly (too big!) and thus they fall out when she exercises. Thus, she wanted over-the-ear headphones.

I might try a set of the Sonys that go into the ear. The rubber on them looks comfortable. I'm stuck debating on 40 GB Ipod vs. 80 Gb Neuros right now for myself (about the same price!). Won't get either until after the summer.

Thanks,
Kelly

On the contrary, it's what actually makes them comfortable compared to some other in-ear sets, and why some people try to mod their earphones with sony ex buds. They'll feel weird like soft earplugs in the beginning, but once you get used to it it's actually pretty nice.
