I recently bought a Gateway FPD2485W 24" monitor. I previously was running the Gateway 21" monitor and was very happy with it so when I upgraded to the 24" model I really didn't do a whole lot of research. Overall the monitor is good with the exception of the inverse ghosting issue. I am now considering returning this monitor and getting a different one entirely.
I am looking for a monitor that will:
Run 1:1 for 1920x1080 over VGA (for the Xbox 360)
Run 1:1 (for games running at 1600x1200) and apect ratio scaling (for games at 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024) over the DVI connection.
Down the road I might be getting a PS3 so it would be nice if I could hook that up and run it at 1080p (maybe over the DVI connection?)
And of course I don't want the inverse ghosting issue.
Does the Dell support all this? with no inverse ghosting? BenQ? I've ruled out the LG, Acer, and Westy based on other stuff I've read about those monitors.
Thanks
