Not sure where this should go, but looking for a simple solution to a simple problem. I'm looking to essentially create an internal relay for a HD video stream. I'm trying to avoid having our firewall grind to a halt. What I'd rather do is have a dedicated PC run the stream, and then broadcast that PC's screen internally, viewable in a browser.
I started out by looking at twitch.tv and their recommended setup, however the solutions are intended to be used with an established stream server. I need the PC running the stream to also act as a webserver. The goal is to send everyone a simple URL that will work in multiple browsers without any special plugins (besides flash)
Free is preferred, not looking to drop thousands on something like Adobe's Flash Media Server.
