Kind of a strange question here...

I have a windows box and a linux box folding behind the same firewall (my roomates firewall). He seems to have changed something on it, which screwed with my clients connecting to stanford's servers. Unfortunately for me, he's in Viriginia at the moment, and I don't really have a way to get ahold of him.

So, I was playing around with my windows client, and I got it to work using IE settings. However, my linux box (running Overclockix w/ folding 4.00) doesn't have that setting in the config. Any ideas as to how I can get the linux box connecting correctly?

check properties in internet explorer on the windows box. set the linux one up to use the same stuff. should work just fine. and of course there's no IE setting... it's linux
nothing to see here, folks...

heh, what a great idea... Actually looking to see what the settings are. Ingenious... I'll post back when this works or fails.

Thanks. :)
