Want to paint the interior of my stacker. Im looking for something rugged and durable thats going to be somewhat scratch resistant. I would really like to go with powder coat but not sure if its worth the price. Anybody have any experience with that hammerd finish paint (krylon)? Might even look into tha rhino bed liner. Any other suggestions? Thanks in advance.
 
I have used the Krylon hammerd finish paint and I have been very impressed. It is really durable, easy to apply ( very little prep needed ) and is actually very similar to powdercoat.

RhinoLinings will NOT work on/in a case, trust me. I own a RhinoLinings dealership, and I work with this material every day.

Try the Krylon, it's really pretty impressive paint, if the thick, textured finish is what your after.
 
Thanks for your input bro, I'll prolly end up going that route. Curious about the rhino lining though. You dont like it?

Yes, I like it, I love it. Being a RhinoLinings dealer accounts for a considerable portion of my income.

But, it does not lend itself to case modding. RhinoLinings is a polyurathane, it's sprayed on, and at a bare minimun, it's at least 1/16" to 1/8" thick. And, without getting too involved in an explanation, it would be very difficult, if not almost impossible to achieve a decent looking finish on the inside of a case with it.

But I like the hammered paint, and I think you will as well..
