I too wondered why they used cheap ass memory with horrible timings on the AMD rig, and corsair XMS for Intel...in that last a64 review. Almost sickening. I mean i'm no reviewer, but if you're comparing something, shouldn't both be given the same things as the other, knowing that AMD platforms take a bigger hit with timings than P4s.
 
Kind of discouraging that mem timings hardly do any difference at all.
