yodap, I don't know a lot about this project, but they supposedly will support iOS. https://seattle.poly.edu/wiki
brilong, glad to have your ARM device on board. If you have any questions on it, feel free to let me know. Also, did you chose BOINC official client or did you go nativeBOINC?

I went with the official client to give it a try. Not sure how long this will last, but I figure it can work away every night when I have the phone charging.

I had the phone plugged into a USB port on my Mac and I configured BOINC to use both cores. It was draining the battery faster than it could charge so I bumped it back to a single core. :D

Yeah...USB doesn't really keep up with the power demand. I have found that powering off the wall was necessary. I have also found that not all chargers are up to snuff. So, sometimes a different charger is needed. I had one charger that wouldn't keep up at all. Another that would maintain whatever charge the phone had when I started the app. But most of my chargers can keep up and charge beyond ok. I have 3 (was 4) phones. Only one of this can run BOINC. I think the official BOINC client is smoother, but nativeBOINC has more options and customization. nativeBOINC also supports older versions of Android that BOINC does not.

Thanks for that.
I had another idea, my wife just gave me her older Nook Color. I'll see if that might be able to do some work. It's just wifi not cellular connected. I'm not sure what Android version it's running but I'll check that out.

Oops, seems it's a no-go. The nook has version 2.2 and app requires 2.3 and up.:(
