Hey, i know there has been some controversity over intellitext stuff, and recently on a forum i freqent they added intellitext. BUT, if you were a registered user you could disable it. at first that seems silly, then i went and looked at Hardforums' current users..

1308 (228 members and 1080 guests)
so about 1/6 of the users are registered, the other 5/6 are guests, who(if all the registered users disabled intellitext) would be forced to view the annoying, and (generally) irrelvant ads.
 
I got an idea for it....

Its called ADBlock for Firefox...

If you have read up on the topic you would see that programs such as that have gotten us here in the first place... Kyle says we have lost 20% of revinue(SP?) due to ad blocking programs, i dont think that is a legit solution...

Discussing adblocking software on [H] will get you banned if a Mod sees you talking about it. Just FYI.

 
He has 2 weeks vacation to think about ad blocking.

I strongly suggest that discussion isn't an option.
