Sorry to ask a question in the midst of all the forum troubles, but I was just curious: do you guys actually make any measureable income from the Intelitext? I noticed it is very sparse now (thanks for that, BTW), and whenever I mouse over an Intelitext word, it links to either some obscure website (i.e. www.weboffice.com, a database company) or an obvious website that I've been to a million times before (i.e. www.microsoft.com).

Does anybody actually click on those things?
 
It is echotopic and I would guess they make quite a bit from them.
 
Text advertising represents the first time the forum has actually ever produced a monthly profit since 2000.
 
Echotopic seems to link more words than intellitext. The only thing I hate is in [H]ard|OCP Front Page News when 5 words have been linked and I end up clicking them all except the one I want.
 
That is appreciated, thanks. That is how we actually get paid. The ads are getting "better" as well as they are doing a better job at targeting our demographic IMO.

The forums have always been run as a seperate business and they have always been a money pit, till text advertising.
