Intel Watercooler?

no he means watercooler intel has rumored that a new line of cpus will come with a self contained water cooling system to help keep there cpu temps down this aluminum and copper stuff isnt doing a good enough job anymore

liquid or watercooled? markenting likes to use liquid to mean heatpipes

no the linked article was for a stock WATERCOOLER not a heatpipe cooler but i dont see it coming out anytime soon

My guess is never. It’s a tease.

IMO it may have all been BS just to get enthusiasts back into looking at Intel and their possibilities with the new C2D.

$50; better performance than a $250 DD setup; stock = BS

i do think intel will come out with a water cooler but i think its gonna be like an upgraded hsk option instead of there stock one like buy this cpu with the air cooled one for $XXX or buy the same cpu with our watercooling system to help keep temps down and exstend the life of your cpu for $xxx this much
I think they should have options for the hsks like an aluminum one a all copper one a copper cored one

That watercooling thing was announced before intel moved to cooler running C2D chips. Now that C2D and the whole performance-per-watt bs is out, intel wont need it anymore.
