Can Intel srt be installed and set up after installing Win7 or does it have to be done during a fresh install of Win7?:)
 
can be done after, but requires RAID mode on the storage controller. changing from AHCI > RAID requires fresh in stall (sort of, there are PITA work arounds)

so therefore use RAID mode right now.
 
Thanks I was thinking about giving it a try, but didn't want to do a fresh install of Win7 since I just did it a couple of weeks ago.:D
 
I don't think you have to re-install Windows to switch to RAID mode. I've never done it with Win 7, so I don't have firsthand experience, but I've never heard that before.

You don't have to, only when going from IDE>AHCI or RAID.
