I got this and found the heat way up... got the Zalman 9500 and installed it different ways but the heat is way high at nearly 68C. What can I do. Based on reviews, recommendations I got this cooler but it is not good.... what other alternatives? I hate pulling it out again.. as it is time consuming to initially get it install.... advise needed. Due to that it crashes so often every hour or so. I believe many have this issue. Using the Lian Li case PC60. Actually it is for kids which has special needs and need the processing ability for speech and vision for non profit program system. Help kindly needed. I just need to test it but testing it for a few weeks now and still high temps. Running XP. Thanks

maybe your sensor is messed up, touch the base of the heat sink and see how hot it is, did you apply the paste properly? u cant be doing everything right if u have that cooler and those temps

I thought too as well as I use Sisoft Sandra 2005/6 along with Gigabyte Monitoring that came with the CD [GA 8N SLI Royal] , running visual and sound metrics for the blind and deaf children and would like to get this send to them soon as they need it badly for the 4-8 year training.

Could the Board sensors be not working? I know it is very strange.. as I have build a lot of systems for the community, non-profit orgs during my off times.... and never experienced this before.

Maybe an alpha pal heatsink. They have worked great in the past for me on other platforums.
